Our recent Ph.D. graduates, Lirong Tan is a winner of Parkinson's Foundation fellowship, and Ye Chen is a best paper award finalist in two conferences. Both of them received industry job offers well before their graduations. Among our current students, Sheng Ren is a winner of Maita Levine Fellowhip. Highly motivated recent PhDs in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Computational biology, Mathematics or a related field are encouraged to apply. The candidates are expected to have proficient programming skills, ability to conduct statistical reasoning, a strong track record of publication, and good communication and presentation skills. Prior experience with machine learning is a must. The candidates should have the ability to conduct independent productive research with minimal supervision. Candidates with profound knowledge in genomics or proteomics, or understanding of disease mechanisms will be given priority.
